We are looking for someone who is not only experienced in HR and payroll support but also proactive in improving how things are done. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, systems-minded, and comfortable working with both people and data. This person should be able to spot inconsistencies, ask the right questions, maintain confidentiality, and help build smoother HR and payroll processes as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Support payroll-related processes, including time-tracking review, payroll data validation, compensation updates, and payment coordination.
- Assist with HR operations, team member records management, internal documentation, and administrative HR support.
- Review and validate timesheets, attendance records, utilization reports, and other workforce-related data.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure payroll, compensation, and HR information is accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive team member, compensation, payroll, and personal information.
- Support global team members by helping resolve payroll, time-tracking, and HR-related concerns.
- Prepare basic reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or internal business applications.
- Help identify payroll and HR process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Support scalable solutions through automation, AI tools, system enhancements, and improved reporting processes.
- Assist with internal HR tools, platforms, and systems as needed, including Hubstaff, HubSpot, and other workforce management tools.
Ideal Skills
- Experience with Hubstaff or similar time-tracking platforms.
- Experience supporting international payroll or contractor payments.
- Familiarity with HR reporting, utilization tracking, compensation data, or internal workforce dashboards.
- Experience using AI tools, automation tools, or system-based improvements to streamline administrative work.
- Prior experience in a remote, global, or fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, compensation administration, or administrative support.
- Experience with payroll, time-tracking, or workforce management systems; Hubstaff experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including basic reporting and data validation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience working with global teams and international payment platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, utilization reporting, or internal business applications is a plus.
- Ability to identify payroll process improvements and support scalable solutions through automation, AI tools, or system enhancements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.
