About the Role
TalentPop is a fast-growing remote workforce and e-commerce support company connecting talented professionals with opportunities to work with businesses around the world. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an HR Generalist in Kenya who can help us support our people and keep the employee experience strong as our team expands. This is a hands-on HR role covering the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work with members and leaders on onboarding, employee relations, performance, HR policies, documentation, and day-to-day people matters. We’re looking for someone who can build trust, handle sensitive situations with good judgment, and turn HR policies into practical support for our team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for the Kenya-based team
- Support employees with HR questions, concerns, and workplace matters
- Conduct background, credential, and medical certificate verifications
- Maintain accurate employee and HR records
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and exit interviews
- Assist with benefits enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries
- Help address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues
- Prepare HR documents, reports, and communications
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with Recruitment, People Operations, and HR leadership on HR matters
- Help improve HR processes using technology and AI tools

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, HR Administration, People Operations, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Experience with employee records, HR documentation, or verification processes
- Familiarity with Kenyan employment practices is an advantage
- Experience with benefits administration, employee relations, or remote teams is a plus
- Experience with Google Workspace, HR systems, verification platforms, reporting tools, or AI tools is an advantage
